Obesity Hurts

As America becomes ever more obese, American Medical Response, which operates 4,200 ambulances worldwide, is forced to finance expensive upgrades to its fleet that cost 57% more than their normal counterparts to accommodate America's growing waistline. So that is why America pays more for health care than any other industrialized nation yet get less from it than many other developed countries--we're fat and cost more to maintain.

All the blue states ought to secede. The red states are the ones that are most of the obese states (You know, Texas, Mississippi, etc...)
Distancing ourselves from
Distancing ourselves from internal problems isn't the answer, Albert. Sure, when it's all hopeless (say, if your right leg becomes infected, you have to amputate it), there's nothing else to do, but there are ways to alleviate the pain and work together as a unified nation. It would be a pity to mock Abraham Lincoln's leadership and the nation's sacrifices by declaring independence ourselves.
